Same Day Visit to Agra...
Thinking to visit Taj Mahal, while you are in Delhi.. is good idea!!
All you need is to plan this trip one day in advance.. Leave Delhi at 06:30 AM in the morning with four hours drive from Delhi. On the way you will get the chance to visit Mathura & Varindavan (the birth place of Lord Krishna).
During your Agra visit you will get the chance to see Agra Fort, Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daula with other interesting tourist places.
Few important things to be kept in mind during this tour:
1. Taj Mahal is Closed on Fridays and also closed partially in other days if any VIP is visiting which will be max. for 2 hours.
2. Entrance fee to Taj Mahal is INR 750 approx. (For Foreign Nationals Only)
3. Do not engage with touts if they ask you to go for cheap entrance ticket or free entrance from any other gate.
4. Do not let anyone come alongwith you during your visit to Agra. (even if you are going alone or staying in India for more days, as many tourist think that they have spent enough days to understand the people in here, which is not totally true.)
5. If you prefer any guide service, ask your agent only or go for licensed guide directly. Most of the guides carry their license with them.
Wish you all the very best... :))
