Travel Corporation of India Introduced the Luxury Train Journey

Travel Corporation India Launched the luxury train journeys — The Indian Maharaja-Deccan Odyssey which will cover the world heritage sites such as Ajanta and Ellora, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort in Agra and Fatehpur Sikri near Agra alongwith other famous tourist places such as Ranthambore, Udaipur and Jaipur.
For Luxury Travel passengers they can  chose from silver, gold or platinum class travel. While for gold and platinum customers sight-seeing will be conducted by private chauffeur-driven cars, silver customers will get a luxury coach and all will be assisted by English speaking guides.
The train has 21 suites including 11 guest coaches with highlights of panoramic windows, twin cabins, channel music, telephone and round the clock dedicated valet service. It also offers service such as spa, functional gymnasium, all day dining with a master chef and a bar. The key highlight is that all the guest services, including housekeeping and butler service is provided by the Taj Group of Hotels and Palaces.

Travel Corporation (India) Limited (TCI) on 13th September 2011, launched its luxury train journeys.
