1. After the selection
of any Indian Travel Destination, must consider the local life style.
2. The Opening
and Closing Time of Markets
3. Local means of
Transport, and till what time of the day are easily accessible.
4. If you are new to
the city, do not take chances of getting back late to your hotel or place of
stay.
5. Before sitting in
any auto/taxi or other vehicles, note down the number of the vehicle and take
care of personal belongings.
6. Do not step down
and leaving your stuff inside the auto. In case of vehicle starting problem, do
not go for pushing even if driver requests you to help him by giving push..
recently happened in Delhi as auto rickshaw driver requested the tourist to
push the vehicle and the moment tourist got down and started pushing the auto
rickshaw to help him. The same moment auto driver started the auto and
run away with all luggage inside.
7. Put all important
docs and money in inner secret pocket.
8. Do not ask any auto
rickshaw or taxi about any address which you do not know, prefer to ask any
traffic police personnel or some shopkeepers nearby. Preferably outside railway
station or bus stand.
9. What to wear and
what not, for Female travelers, i will certainly advise to first consider the
local environment.
10. Do take the
emergency numbers of local authorities, the person who is taking care of your
arrangements.
